Founder & CEO

After completing her master’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Johns Hopkins and recently graduating from IndieBio’s NY accelerator program, Marie is excited to bring Tastee Tape to grocery shelves near you. This new product marries her two areas of expertise: food and biomaterials. Marie hopes to get people’s hands on Tastee Tape and change the way we use unsustainable, toxic plastics. 

Victor Kim

Materials Scientist

After earning his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The City College of New York, Victor joined Tastee Tape to help transform its vision into reality. As a material scientist, he focuses on enhancing the mechanical and barrier properties of Tastee Tape’s biopolymer films, ensuring they meet industry standards while remaining fully biodegradable. His expertise in biomaterials and characterization aligns with Tastee Tape’s mission to replace unsustainable plastics with innovative, high-performance alternatives. Victor is excited to push the boundaries of sustainable packaging and bring a new generation of eco-friendly materials to market.
